I loosely paint and scribble in the landscape, I finish in soft pastel at home. I sew. My stitches are tiny on baby caps and quilt squares. I paint small postcards, memories of travel. My colors are bright and I love the garden.
I have always made time for creativity. I have played with pastels since my father's secretary gifted me a set for a young birthday. As I child I was a regular student and visitor to the Cleveland Museum of Art. Art classes were always part of my curriculum. Never a major but always on the schedule and included on the calendar. Some days I make more mess than masterpiece but everyday my head and hands spin color. I love to paint, sketch and stitch.
My "studio" is a camp stool in the landscape, our kitchen table, my bedroom desk or our back terrace. My dogs often follow. My family is patient! I invite you to join me during the tour though rain and high wind will cancel this venue!
