Sandy Buffie currently resides in Great Falls, Va. where she specializes in unique jewelry design, painting and sculpture. Pieces hand-sculpted from copper, sterling silver, hardware, family heirlooms and found objects generate one-of-a-kind, wearable art. Contemporary, whimsical, edgy, durable and eye-catching, Sandy's collections are a refreshing alternative to more traditional designs. An environmentalist, trained as a metalsmith and drawn to the art world through her love of painting and sculpting, Sandy has lived and worked in Malibu, Dallas, Atlanta, Charlotte, Charleston, and Cleveland. Married with three children, she enjoys travel, reading, skiing, tennis and all that is groundbreaking, daring and artistic. While living in Cleveland, Ohio, she had a teaching studio and Gallery. She also was a Board member at the Center For Arts Inspired Learning. She has lived in Great Falls for 2 1/2 years and absolutely loves everything about it. Her home studio is open for drop in shopping and Girls Night Out Events. Her jewelry is sold online at sandybuffie.com and at various galleries and boutiques throughout the country. Custom-designed commissions are welcomed. Her dryer lint sculptures have been Nationally recognized. Her life-size bust of LeBron James was shown on the Jimmy Kimmel show!
