Pat Menster Neuman

Pastels, Watercolor

As a child I attended classes at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Saturday mornings we carried our pint-sized stools and paint jars into the galleries. I was hooked for life! In school my electives were in the art department. I skipped through the years a regular in a wide range of workshops, seminars and classes. A week of plein-air painting with a favorite instructor was a pleasure for twenty plus summers. When my nest emptied, I completed the core curriculum and enjoyed some electives toward a certificate in Botanical Illustration including classes in drawing, dimension, shading and value and an introduction to watercolors. Recently I purchased a sewing machine and have delighted in modern fabrics and patterns and meeting new friends.
