Parinaz Bahadori

After almost three decades of practicing as an architect, Parinaz transitioned to becoming a full-time artist in 2013. She works in a barn she renovated on her property where she sometimes leads groups in collage workshops. She is inspired by so much of the world around her, particularly Persian poetry and the lyrics to songs that have evoked deep feelings in her heart. Bits of words might appear in her work as abstract forms and these shapes become an important part of the composition.
