Since 2003, I’ve been painting my favorite subject – Life. My Dad was the ultimate people watcher and the apple fell directly from the tree. All those faces and relationships, conversations, movement and scenes of everyday life – are what I strive to capture. Originally, I thought that was only possible working from photos. Painting plein air turns those stills into “motion pictures” where life unfolds right before our eyes and on canvas. It’s magical! I’m on one sweet journey of which there are many wonderful chapters.
