The Arts of Great Falls

The Arts of Great Falls (AGF) leases affordable studio space to 12 artists, manages an art gallery and hosts community art events. Stop by the Art School-Gallery during studio tour to see a special exhibit by The Artists' Atelier, featuring artwork by seven artists including: Jill Banks (Oil Paintings), Roberta Beasley (Mixed Media), Cindy Grisdela (Fiber Arts), Walt Lawrence (Photography), Theresa Miller (Oil and Watercolor Paintings), Joyce Lee (Oil Paintings), Chris Rollins (Botanical Illustrations). Visitors can also learn more about fine art classes and workshops for adults and children offered at The Arts of Great Falls Art School as well as upcoming special events and exhibits. The Arts of Great Falls hosts the annual "Paint Great Falls" plein air competition in May with 35 artists competing from throughout the DC Metro Area. Artists paint outdoors at select locations throughout Great Falls capturing gorgeous spring landscapes and iconic landmarks. We also host special exhibits featuring the artwork of our adult and youth students every year, plus an exhibit featuring works by our art instructors. Look for a special exhibit in September 2024 featuring original artwork by the NOVA Plein Air Artists. The Arts of Great Falls also hosts 1st Friday Art Walk in conjunction with The Artists' Atelier and The Artists' Loft the 1st Friday each month from April-December.
