Inspired by the natural beauty surrounding me in Great Falls, I paint almost exclusively outdoors and most often along the Potomac River.  Discovering artistic talent as an adult and finding that I have an ability to evoke emotions through art have both been a surprise and source of great joy. Always delighted and a bit awed when people use words like 'tranquil' and 'serene' to describe my work; neither word describes my nature.  Intrigued by the notion that this inner peace must reside somewhere in me, I will continue to seek it through my art.
