I felt a great deal of freedom when I created this work. I used colors I loved and painted anything I felt like without bothering about the usual rules of light and dark or warm and cool. I loved the experience and call the painting what I felt - happy.

A favorite from a time of manual metering and estimating the differences in the extremes from dark to light w/o losing shadowy figures in the dark or blowing out the whites and skin tones for the penitents - and then waiting for many days to receive back the developed slides to review the outcome.
