Kathleen O'Bryan Hedges is a self-taught artist working in the lost-wax medium of bronze sculpture. She focuses on animal subjects and wishes to express to the viewer the interpretative side of animal emotions. Her works are in the collection of the author, John Grisham and the Prince of Morocco. She shows her work in Middleburg, Virginia at the Shaggy Ram and in Santa Fe, New Mexico at the Joe Wade Fine Art Gallery.
Kathleen also offers art instruction to children and summer art camps. Classes run Monday through Friday after school and on Saturdays during the school year. During the summer recess she offers Summer Art Camps on a weekly basis with art instruction and swimming during the lunch break. Her instruction offers clay sculpture, acrylic painting, pastels, mosaics, water color and papier mache. Classes are taught from her art studio adjacent to her home in Great Falls
