My medium is in oil painting and in May of 2018 I became a registered copyist at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.  This program has given me a better understanding of how the Old Masters painted.  The Bridge at Argenteuil by Claude Monet at NGA was one of my copies.   I too found myself painting with large brushstrokes using dabs of paint in unblended tones of blue, red, green and yellow in the water.  To be able to copy a painting from an Old Master in person is one of my most treasured memories and I have incorporated this when painting my current landscapes.

My studio is located at the Artist's Loft. I will be available Saturday October 16th and Sunday October 17th. You can catch me working on a new or older painting.. I have a broad range to choose from and more then happy to answer any questions you might have.

What is unique about my studio is the variety of paintings I have for sale, starting with plein air landscapes to floral still life.
