I am artist working in mixed media. I enjoy the multiples tools available (acrylic paint and ink, charcoal, oil sticks etc.) that I can incorporate in to my art to create pieces that are visually interesting and appealing. I work on canvas, wood panels and paper and will demonstrate my approach to abstracted landscapes during studio tour at the Artists’ Atelier.
I come from a creative family. My dad worked in wood following his retirement and created an array of carved animals, including several carousel horses. My brother has a well known stained glass studio in London and is currently working on a window for Jude Law’s house! I have two abstract landscapes behind the registration desk at the Ritz Carlton in Tysons Corner.
